SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager for Worldwide Challenge magazine (the flagship publication of Campus Crusade for Christ, Int.) assists the Marketing and Advertising Director in developing, implementing and evaluating the magazine’s print and online marketing activities. Attention to the “under 30-age” demographic will be important with priority on handling online efforts including: sales strategies, e-newsletters, blogs and other interactive social network options. The position also requires extensive promotional writing for direct mail packages. The marketing manager will liaison with Worldwide Challenge’s subscriptions manager and computer expert to ensure all marketing programs and efforts are continually updated and enhanced—including website planning and enhancement.  The position supervises the marketing assistant in the execution of various marketing and advertising activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Desire a multi-talented individual with direct mail-promotion experience; understands market research and analysis; has strong written and verbal communications; and can multi-task. Must be self-motivated, organized, detailed, accurate, and deadline-oriented.  Must have a BA in Marketing/Communications, at least 2 years experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  Familiarity with Apple operating system is a plus, but not required.
