Web Page Designer/Programmer
Ministry: Student Venture Office, Coaching Center
Description: We are planning to transform our current resource website into a learning environment tool to see movements built on local campuses across the US and around the world. You will be using creative software solutions to develop an e-learning environment to accelerate the expansion of movements everywhere. We see the Internet as the most viable and available vehicle to expand the delivery of this mission-critical information. Web Page Designers and Programmers play a crucial role in our mission to reach young people for Christ.
Environment: Relate to Coaching Center staff, Venture Web team, SV Training Task Force. Work closely with our current systems to design and implement Web applications that will enable the capacity and availability of mission-critical information. Gain experience in developing Web-enabled e-learning environments using the latest technologies and tools, and use your technical gifts to reach teenagers for Christ worldwide.
Desired Skills: Knowledge of Macromedia Studio MX 2004 (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Freehand), Photoshop, HTML, ASP/ASP.NET, JavaScript, and/or XML, Linux//MySQL/PHP, Oracle.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement re-development of gocampus.org website
2. Research and implement the best e-learning applications
3. Enhance and maintain the current school database to help screen and train local leaders.
Results: In the coming months we hope to be prepared to train and equip thousands of workers to build movements on local campuses around the US and world. Essential to that effort is the web infrastructure necessary to communicate with and train our leaders. You will be part of developing the websites that will share vision, challenge, train, and encourage others to play a part in seeing student movements begun and expanded.
