Venture Web Director
Ministry: Student Venture Office, Venture Web
Description: Develop and deploy Web solutions for our ministry to Win, Build and Send students.
Environment: Venture Web Director will report to the C.O.O. and work with the existing team to harness web technologies to help thrust out equipping resources and evangelistic encounters to reach 50 million teenagers per year via the Web with the message of God's love and forgiveness.
Skills & Resources Needed:
1. Lead the Venture Web Team by setting priorities and giving vision and leadership.
2. Work well with people in other CCC ministries and outside vendors.
3. IT background - Web technologies, including Macromedia solutions and other developmental software, as well as a skill set and working knowledge consistent with current technology platforms.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop a plan for each school year consistent with the goals and objectives stated by the team vision and working with leadership.
2. Develop an annual budget consisting of technology and resources for the team.
3. Represent Student Venture to other groups, like the IT Council.
4. Give reports to leadership.
5. Manage ongoing projects for the team.
Results:
1. Develop and maintain Web sites, including the Meant4More.com and StaciStory.com evangelistic sites, our city Web sites, our staff portal and resource Web site, and other sites designed to support our work with teenagers and those who work with youth.
2. Trust the Lord for 50 million exposures, 150,000 unique visitors and 7,500 to 10,000 decisions for Christ each year with our evangelistic sites.
