Personal Assistant
Reports To: Nancy Wilson
SUMMARY: To work with the Global Ambassador to accomplish the ministry's mission, with emphasis on communication and personal administration. The job will encompass a wide range of activities, including miscellaneous projects providing assistance in all facets within the leadership scope of the Global Ambassador as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;
- Organizing and maintaining schedules and making appointments when necessary; ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
- Dealing with incoming email, faxes and any type of department postings or announcements; this will require proficiency in the operation of Microsoft Window's based software.
- Dealing with correspondence and writing letters, organize meetings, ensure that the Global Ambassador is well prepared for meeting and appointments and write down minutes;
- Producing documents, editing speaking, writing projects and presentations
- Carrying out background research on persons or topics when needed and presenting findings to the Global Ambassador
- The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization and also those outside of Campus Crusade for Christ
- Organizing and attending meetings, and ensuring the Global Ambassador is well-prepared for meetings;
- Devising and maintaining office systems to deal efficiently with paper flow; organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information;
- Arranging travel and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings, or to provide general assistance during presentations
- Agreement with and willingness to grow in understanding of ministry models, and participate in selected developmental and ministry opportunities.
- Must be a team player but also be self motivated to work independently
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carrying out specific projects and doing research
- Use your one card to make purchases and maintain accurate records to clear those purchases
- Oversee the Global Ambassador's order and shipment of published works
- When appropriate oversee the translation projects of the Global Ambassador's published books

Campus Crusade for Christ RMO Staff are expected to maintain a positive balance in his/her staff account, properly administer financial resources, and communicate consistently with his/her support team.

It is anticipated that all staff of Campus Crusade for Christ, throughout the course of their employment, will actively seek opportunities for greater understanding, involvement and connection with our ministry by taking part in various activities as specified by their leadership. This includes attending periodic Bible studies and other worship experiences which occur in the workplace during the workweek. Staff members are also expected to actively and intentionally grow in their Christian faith and exhibit Christian character as demonstrated by their attitude, appearance and conduct as outlined in the U.S. Staff Handbook.
