Description: Conferences serve a very critical role in our strategy of winning, building and sending students in Student Venture. They give students a vision for ministry, a challenge to take steps of faith and training to equip them for ministry. Major decisions are made at conferences that change a person’s life and result in multiplied influence to those they know and relate to. When we hear students talk about God working in their lives, they often say this took place at a conference. Not only does God work in individual student’s lives at conferences but He also works through groups of believers as they experience the life changing environment of a conference together there is momentum birthed and exploded in the spiritual movement of their city or school.

Environment: Working with a small team dedicated to producing a creative environment at our conferences where God can work in student’s lives. We want our conferences to be a thing of beauty, from promotion, to registration, to the conference environment, to the follow up with students who attend.

Skills & Resources Needed:

Responsibilities:
1. Research speakers and musicians for considerations as approved Student Venture speakers/musicians.
2. Secure contracts with speakers and musicians
3. Secure hotel sites and service vendor contracts.
4. Develop and coordinate budget/brochure information with conference directors, national administrator, national conference director and media director.
5. Receive and respond directly to incoming public inquires for information on all aspects of our conferences or delegate to appropriate staff. Follow up with special problems or needs to assure proper resolution.
6. Assist with data entry for registrations or reports if system is automated.
7. Confirm and coordinate financial balances for assigned conferences with administrative department.

Results:
1. Conferences are set up so that brochures can be produced and students and groups can plan and schedule to come.
2. Quality sites are secured that enhanced the environment of our conferences.
3. Conferences grow and develop resulting in thousands of students having their lives changed and as a result influencing thousands of other lives.
