Following an earthquake on the Indonesian island of Java that left 6,000 people dead and 650,000 homeless, Global Aid Network quickly responded.

Campus Crusade's humanitarian ministry sent a medical team that worked with local missionaries and students to treat victims and pray for them. The team saw 600 patients; 30 accepted Christ.

"Very seldom does anyone say, 'No, don't pray for me,'" says GAiN director Duane Zook. "That opens up incredible opportunities to take the next step."
