Spiritual Climate of Bolivia

Bolivia is South America’s richest country in natural resources, but the poorest economically. The Roman Catholic Church is the official state church, but the rapid growth of non-Catholic religious groups threatens this status. Evangelical Christians are a growing influence, yet illiteracy, apathy, corruption, and lack of understanding of basic Christianity remain challenges.
