Spiritual Climate of Mongolia

Mongolia was once among the most closed countries, but is now relatively open. The constitution honors Buddhism, Shamanism and Islam as main religions but grants certain religious freedom to all people. The desperate economic plight has led to suffering and exploitation. Christianity is still too foreign and persecution of Christians occurs, mainly through discrimination and bureaucratic difficulties.
