Spiritual Climate of Uganda

The devastation of the Amin and Obote years with terror, murder, tribal warfare and corruption destroyed much of the economic and social fabric of the nation, and recovery will take years. Under Amin there were restrictions and intense persecution of Christians, but there is now religious freedom, and the church is growing.
