Campus Crusade's Worldwide Challenge

Publication receives top awards from Florida Magazine Association.

Campus Crusade for Christ's magazine, Worldwide Challenge, won awards in writing, design and photography at the Florida Magazine Association convention held August 21-23.

There were 300 entries for judging.

The Florida Magazine Association is the largest state magazine association in the nation, consisting of 200 publishing professionals in Florida.

Worldwide Challenge won in 3 categories:

Photography Awards:

• The Charlie award (1st place) for Original Color Photo (Association publications): "Campus Mission 2007" by Tom Mills
• Overall Use of Photography (2nd place)
  (Association publications)
• Original Color Photo (3rd place)
  (Association publications) "Uniting Nations" by Guy Gerrard

Design Awards:

• The Charlie award for Feature Design (1st place)
  (Association publications) for "London Calling"
• Feature Design (2nd place)
  (Association publications) for "Urban Amazon"
• Overall Design (2nd place)
  (Association publications)

Writing Awards:

• Best Feature (3rd place)
  (Association publications) "Frontline Faith" by Jennifer Abegg
• Best Written Magazine (3rd place)
